THE SITE MAP
The site map for the Jour de Triche time reservation app was meticulously designed to ensure a seamless user experience and intuitive navigation. It reflects a deep understanding of user behavior and preferences, with a focus on making the process of placing a takeout order or making a reservation as effortless as possible.

Home Screen Navigation:
The home screen serves as the central hub where users can choose between two primary actions: placing a takeout order or making a reservation. This strategic layout simplifies the user's decision-making process and provides clear pathways to their desired actions.

Takeout Order Route:
Upon selecting the takeout option, users are directed to a dedicated section where they can browse through a visually appealing menu of delectable pastries and beverages. High-quality imagery and concise descriptions entice users to explore the offerings further. Each item is accompanied by an "Add to Cart" button for seamless ordering.

Reservation Route:
Users opting to make a reservation are guided through a streamlined process that begins with selecting the desired date and time. A calendar interface facilitates easy date selection, while dropdown menus offer time slot options. Once the reservation details are confirmed, users can proceed to provide additional information such as party size and any special requests.

Shop Pages Integration:
One of the key features of the site map is its integration with shop pages. Whether users are browsing the menu for takeout orders or finalizing their reservation details, all paths lead to the shop pages. This ensures consistent access to add-to-cart functionality and a seamless transition between browsing and ordering.
Visual Cues and Call-to-Action Buttons:
Throughout the site map, visual cues such as enticing imagery of pastries and beverages and strategically placed call-to-action buttons enhance user engagement. These elements guide users towards taking desired actions, whether it's adding items to their cart or confirming a reservation.
User Feedback and Iterative Improvements:
The site map is a result of continuous user testing and feedback, leading to iterative improvements in the navigation flow. Insights gathered from user interactions were used to refine the layout, optimize pathways, and enhance overall usability.

By focusing on user-centric design principles and leveraging insights from user behavior, the site map of the Jour de Triche app ensures a delightful and efficient user journey, ultimately enhancing the overall customer experience.
The Wireframe
The wireframing process for the Jour de Triche time reservation app marked the infancy stage of designing, characterized by exploration, experimentation, and a deep dive into understanding user needs and preferences. The wireframes were crafted with the primary goal of conveying the indulgent ambiance of the shop while ensuring straightforward navigation for quick and easy ordering and reservation making.
1. Small Screen and User Rush:
-
Consideration of small screen sizes and users being in a rush guided the wireframing process. The goal was to provide quick access to essential functions like takeout orders and reservations upon app launch. Users needed to circumvent lines and wait times, so the interface prioritized clarity and speed. However, initial feedback from usability testing highlighted issues with small buttons and text, leading to adjustments in the final design. Prominence was given to Call-to-Action (CTA) buttons and text to enhance usability and quick decision-making for users on-the-go.

2. User-Centric Design and Iteration:
-
The wireframing process prioritized user needs, particularly the need for efficiency and speed. Feedback from usability testing played a crucial role in refining the wireframes. Users expressed the desire for larger buttons and text for easier navigation. These insights led to iterative improvements in the final design, ensuring that the app addressed the primary goal of helping users avoid wait times and seamlessly access desired functions.

3. Generative AI Imagery and Concept of Indulgence:
-
The use of generative AI imagery aimed to evoke feelings of indulgence and temptation, aligning with the concept of a cheat day. The imagery was strategically designed to entice users and enhance the desire to make purchases. The name "Cheat Day" in English already sets the tone for indulgence, and the imagery amplified this idea, providing visual dopamine hits to users.

4. Usability Testing Feedback and Refinement:
-
While users appreciated the indulgent imagery, readability issues with text were identified during usability testing. This feedback led to adjustments in the final design, ensuring that text was legible and prominent. Additionally, features such as multiple reservation capabilities and a VIP membership function were added to enhance user experience and cater to regular customers.

5. VIP Membership and Website Accompaniment:
-
The VIP membership function was introduced to offer special benefits to regular customers, including early access to new pastries, specials, and events. This personalized approach made users feel appreciated and valued. The decision to create a website accompanying the app provided users with additional information about the company, membership benefits, and a breakdown of services. Videos were strategically used on the website to further enhance visual appeal and engage users with compelling content.

These considerations and iterative improvements throughout the wireframing and design process demonstrate a user-centric approach, responsiveness to feedback, and a focus on creating a seamless and indulgent experience for users of the Jour de Triche app and website.
